that same night, Olivia and Kendrick went out for a date. kendrick took her out a fancy dinner and he saw how Olivia looked and decided the moment was right.
"Olivia, we have known each other for 6 years and they have been wonderful. I can't imagine my life without you.  that day I was talking to your dad,  I was asking him for your hand. will you please marry me?
olivia: yes... 

the next morning Olivia told her dad about the engagement. chris breathed a sigh of relief. "congrats baby girl!" said Chris. "I know that you are taken care of." Olivia looked at her dad " daddy, I can take care of myself. I got a  promotion at work." "I didn't mean to make it sound like that. I meant that I am glad you found someone that will love you almost as much as me." he smiles. "ok daddy. I just wanted you to realize that." Chris hugs her.
